In this conversation, Katherine Moore of Anthropology and Julia Hartmann of Math will discuss how they have balanced the different components of their online courses. The discussion will explore ways to integrate recorded videos, discussion boards, and assignments with live sessions where faculty and their students discuss and present content. Conversation will focus on the interconnection between the synchronous and asynchronous elements in class, setting appropriate student and faculty expectations about this work.
