While many of us were concerned about building community in online classes, intentional community building also matters when everyone is in person. In this session, participants will begin by considering what worked in online classes and what practices and tools helped get students to engage with the instructor and fellow students. Then we will discuss how we might use those approaches — and others made possible in-person — to help bolster a sense of connection among our students.
