Creating a course by starting with the end

Facilitator: Online only
Convener: CETLI Staff

Participants in this workshop will begin by thinking about the end of their course: what do they want students to have learned and what sort of thinking will they expect? Using those ideas about learning goals, participants will begin with a sense of their final assessment and then outline how they can use the different components of Canvas to guide their students, step-by-step, through the course. By the end of this workshop, participants will have drafted a set of goals and started to think about how to give students practice with those goals to prepare for the final assessment.

This workshop is designed for instructors who will be teaching online classes this summer.
