How to Solicit & Engage with Student Feedback

Facilitator: Elizabeth Dunens, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Education

There’s no reason to wait until end of semester evaluations to find out how students feel about your class and teaching. Although it may seem like extra work or be a little intimidating at first, inviting and incorporating student feedback throughout the term can greatly benefit your instruction and students’ educational experience. In this workshop we’ll discuss techniques for soliciting authentic, productive student feedback in a range of course types and settings, along with how to apply the feedback you receive to your course and teaching.

Counts towards the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
