Making Online Office Hours Work
The shift to online learning brings new challenges not only to the delivery of in-class content, but also to how faculty and teaching assistants hold their office hours. TAs seeking to effectively use their office hours need to consider how to organize/structure their online meetings and also be familiar with varied online tools. In this workshop, participants will discuss strategies to maximize the usefulness of their online office hours for students and review tools to improve TA instructional practices in the online environment.
