Responding to Student Stress

Facilitator: Ryan Pilipow, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Ancient History
Convener: Dr. Julien Almonte, CAPS

Toward the end of the semester, student stress is increasing. Finals are coming up, papers are due, and grading mounts. Join Dr. Julien Almonte from CAPS as we discuss ways to respond to student stress. What resources are available at Penn for students to manage stress? What role does the graduate student instructor play in the health and well-being of our students? This workshop will help familiarize participants with Penn’s resources and how to make them known to students.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Ancient History department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
