Teaching Your Own Course

Facilitator: Lauren Harris, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Sociology
Convener: Panel of Experienced TAs

“Will you be teaching your first course? Or do you want to? Join us for a panel discussion with members of then Sociology Department who have taught their own courses – Marcus Wright, Liz Jacobs, and Tyler Baldor. Learn their tips and tricks – everything from proposing and preparing a course to being in the classroom.”

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Sociology department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
