Technology in the Classroom and Teaching for Retention

Facilitator: Stan Najmr, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Chemistry
Convener: Judith Currano, Chemistry Library

Recent advances in technology have created a suite of new tools to integrate into the classroom. From clickers to interactive whiteboards, the classroom space is more maellable than ever. In this workshop, Judith Currano will review these innovations, with a particular focus on how they can be used to enhance student retention of the course material. All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Chemistry department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.
Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
