The Challenge of Teaching Contentious and Current Events

Professor Sil writes and teaches on Russian politics. This workshop will focus on the challenges of teaching subjects that touch on current events. This workshop will also welcome discussion of experiences teaching contentious issues, which is a common occurrence in a political science classroom.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Political Science department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
