Helping Students Make Use of Library Resources

Convener: Zachary Loeb, CETLI Graduate Fellow, History & Sociology of Science

For many students, the main reason to go to the library is that it offers a quiet study space, and thus many students graduate without ever realizing what the library has to offer them. This workshop will discuss the many resources that the library makes available to students, while also presenting ways to familiarize your students with these resources and encourage them to use them. As the pandemic has made access to the physical library difficult, this workshop will focus on ways that students (and their TAs) can make use of the library’s tools without physically visiting the building.

Registration Required.

This workshop counts as a TA Training Follow-up Workshop.
